Six generations of the Toop family have dairy farmed in British Columbia. Devan Toop's ancestors would be surprised to see the innovative automation that is currently operated at the dairy. Lely robots have been handling manure management at Toop Farms Ltd. since 2006. The dairy's Lely Discovery 120 Collector mobile barn cleaner and Lely Discovery 90 SW mobile barn cleaners have eliminated the previously required 90 minutes of daily manure scraping for the dairy's team. The robots have integrated easily into the barn's existing infrastructure and the herd's daily rhythm.
